JOB TITLE : RESIDENT VETERINARIAN

Requirements: 

  • Licensed DVM

  • At least 2 years of clinical experience with surgery

  • Veterinary clinical skills including laboratory diagnostics

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and examining patients, and diagnosing their medical issues;

  • Performing immunizations, deworming and disease prevention procedures;

  • Conducting laboratory tests on patients to diagnose medical conditions;

  • Performing diagnostic imaging and ultrasound tests;

  • Performing surgery, dressing and treating wounds, performing injectable

    treatments and prescribing medication;

  • Monitoring and treatment of confined patients;

  • Perform supervisory and administrative works as delegated by immediate

    supervisor;

  • Perform OT only as needed

  • Assist the Resident Veterinarian on the following activities:​

    • Performing surgery, dressing and treating wounds, performing injectable

      treatments and prescribing medication;

    • Recording of client and pet information

  • Monitor, conduct scheduled rounds and provide necessities such as food and water for the confined pet;

  • Communicate with the pet owners regarding the status and concerns of their confined pets

  • Assist the Resident Veterinarian on the following activities:​

    • Performing surgery, dressing and treating wounds, performing injectable

      treatments and prescribing medication;

    • Recording of client and pet information

    • Restraining of patients undergoing treatment or procedures

    • Handling, cleaning, and maintaining the different tools, equipment and materials used by the resident veterinarian

    • Preparing the different rooms together as well as the materials and tools needed prior to a procedure

    • Cleaning, maintaining, and sanitizing the different rooms and areas of the clinic
