Mexloxicam- 1.5mg
 
Indication
Meloxicam is used to decrease pain, inflammation, and fver. It has been used for the acute and chronic treatment of pain and inflammation in dogs and cats. One of the most common uses is osteoarthritis. To reduce post- operative pain after ovariohysterectomy and minor soft tissues surgery.
 
Dosage and Administration
Dog- 0.2mg/kg initial loading dose, and then 0.1mg/kg every 24 hours thereafter.
Cat- 0..05mg/kg every 24 hours PO, with reduction in dose if chronic treatment may be reduced to 0.05mg/kg every 48hours, and as low as every 72hours, PO.
