How it works:
Carprofen is a non- narcotic, non- steroidal anti- inflammatory agent with characteristics analgesic and antipyretic activity. Carprofen reduces pain and inflammation by inhibition of COX- 1 and COX- 2.
 
Indication:
Carprofen is non- steroidal anti- inflammatory (NSAID) drug indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and for the control of postoperative pain associated with soft tissue & orthopaedic surgeries in dogs. It;s also used to reduce fever.
 
Directions:
Carprofen can be given as a single full dose once a day or divided in half and given twice a day. Carprofen is available as a chewable tablet. Carprofen should be given with food. Carprofen is for dogs only. Do not give to cats.
